Refund Policy

At Abiet Logistics, we value transparency and customer trust. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may or may not be issued in relation to our logistics and shipping services.

1. General Refund Policy

Because logistics services involve third-party carriers, customs authorities, and time-sensitive operations, refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The type of service booked

  • The stage of shipment processing

  • Fees already incurred with carriers or third parties

2. Non-Refundable Charges

The following fees are non-refundable, even if a shipment is cancelled or delayed:

  • Carrier booking fees

  • Fuel surcharges

  • Customs duties, taxes, and inspection fees

  • Port, terminal, and handling charges

  • Documentation and administrative fees

  • Services already rendered or partially completed

3. Cancellations Before Shipment Processing

  • If a cancellation request is made before shipment processing begins, a partial refund may be considered

  • Any costs already incurred will be deducted from the refundable amount

  • Approval of refunds is at the discretion of Abiet Logistics

4. Cancellations After Shipment Processing or Transit

  • Once shipment processing has begun or goods are in transit, refunds are generally not available

  • This includes cases where shipments are delayed due to customs, carrier schedules, or regulatory inspections

5. Delays and Service Interruptions

Abiet Logistics is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs authorities or government agencies

  • Weather conditions or port congestion

  • Carrier disruptions or force majeure events

Delays alone do not qualify for refunds.

6. Incorrect Information or Customer Error

Refunds will not be issued if issues arise due to:

  • Inaccurate or incomplete shipment information

  • Improper packaging by the customer

  • Failure to comply with destination country regulations

Any resulting costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

  • Refunds for lost or damaged goods are subject to carrier liability rules and applicable laws

  • Shipping insurance must have been purchased for compensation eligibility

  • Claims must be submitted within the carrier’s required timeframe with supporting documentation

8. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment where possible

  • Processing time may take 7–14 business days, depending on financial institutions

  • Currency exchange differences or transaction fees are non-refundable

9. Refused, Returned, or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused, returned, or deemed undeliverable:

  • No refund is guaranteed

  • Additional charges for storage, return shipping, or disposal may apply

  • Any such costs are the customer’s responsibility

10. Policy Updates

Abiet Logistics reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
